Discover new spots with Google Maps

Google Map is getting new features that will make it easier for you to discover new places surrounding you. It is also getting a new look.

 This re-styling will be available soon and make Maps look and work slightly differently: for example, the app will highlight locations such as gas stations if you’re driving, or places such as bus stops if you’re walking. A color scheme update will make it easier for you to locate specific kinds of venues, dividing Food&Drink, Shopping, Entertainment/Leisure by using different colors.

It might not sound like much, but it might make a world of difference.
