Amazon's Alexa Sales Numbers
We don't really have a precise number, as Amazon never releases such information, but we know that the company may have accounted for half of Black Friday to Cyber Monday online sales, with the retailer itself announcing this has been its best holiday shopping weekend ever in terms of Amazon devices sold, with "millions" of Alexa ordered.
It doesn't come as much of a surprise that Echo Dot and Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote were the best-selling items on Amazon, given the former was discounted to 29.99$ while the latter sold for 24,99$ on Cyber Monday.
"Customers purchased millions of Amazon's Alexa-enabled devices this weekend said, Senior Vice President of Amazon Devices & Services Dave Limp. "Tens of millions of customers around the world will be using Alexa to prepare for the holidays."
Analysis of Bezos' statements regarding Echo sales suggests that roughly 20 million units have been sold, while non-Echo smart speakers with Alexa built-in are probably down to 1 million units so far.
